After winning its warm-up game against Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka will now face Ireland in its second practice game, to be played at The Junction Oval in Melbourne on October 13 (Thursday). 
Speaking about Ireland, they lost their first practice game against Namibia despite restricting them to a low total. Both teams will look to rectify their mistakes from the last game before starting their 2022 T20 World Cup campaign.

Sri Lanka’s senior batter Kusal Mendis was in top-notch form against Zimbabwe. The opening batter top-scored for his team with a 29-ball 54. Mendis will look to continue his good form with the bat ahead as well.
Barry McCarthy:
Ireland’s pacer Barry McCarthy bowled with a lot of discipline in his previous outing. The right-arm pacer also scalped one wicket and kept the batters guessing with his line and lengths. McCarthy will want to emulate his performance in the upcoming game.
