Wellnex Life launches online retail store – Inside FMCG

Listed wellness brand Wellnex Life has introduced an online retail platform TheSet.Co with 19 products initially. 
The launch is a part of the company’s plan to increase its online retail presence and provide consumers high-quality products for self-care.
As a B2C model, Wellnex Life says TheSet.Co will offer higher margins (about 45 per cent) than typical retail sales, and is anticipated to boost the company’s overall profitability. Its range will be progressively expanded.
Wellnex Life, an Australian brand and distribution business, was established in 2011 with a focus on the consumer health and wellness industry. The company owns some brands such as The Iron Company, Wakey Wakey and Koena. 
Statista reports Australia’s overall health and fitness industry income is anticipated to reach A$455 million this year. Over half of the income earned by the supplemental medicines sector is made up of the segment for vitamins and nutritional supplements. 
Additionally, the Australian Capital Territory saw the highest rate of growth in health and beauty e-commerce sales last year – 18.4 per cent – compared to any other Australian state or territory.
